So she had to portray an intense emotional state where a mother feels she has lost the purpose of her life. “So, luckily I did it before I had a baby. If Talaash had come to me today, maybe I would not have the courage to take it up. You know, because as a mother myself today, I don’t think I’ll be able to relate or be able to portray those emotions, even if it’s for a film," the actress said.Rani Mukerji opens up about how today's films impact societyDuring the same segment, the actress shared that films in any era always had a "very powerful impact not only on society as in how they think, how they behave but also in their fashion." She added, "I think films do impact society but at the same time when there are certain films when people have an opinion that it might have a negative impact I think more than the negative impact, I think it empowers people who are already looking for something negative."
