Ranveer Singh is leaving no stone unturned to portray legend cricketer Kapil Dev on silver screen. For his role as Kapil Dev, Ranveer spent more time with the cricket icon by living with him in Delhi.

"I'm looking forward to spending more time with Kapil sir. He is kind, generous, warm and funny. I had a memorable two days with him in Dharamsala. I'm going to spend more time with him in Delhi to learn more about him. It's a first of its kind exercise in my acting process where I'll be studying the man himself in the flesh for my on screen portrayal of him. I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to learn about life from a true legend," he said in a statement.

Sharing some pictures from his 10-day stay with the cricketer, Ranveer Singh is a perfect example of an inquisitive student who never stops learning!

Besides Ranveer, the makers have revealed the upcoming venture will also star Ammy Virk as Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Chirag Patil in his father Sandeep Patil’s role, Sahil Khattar as Syed Kirmani, R Badree as Sunil Valson, Jiiva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth, and Pankaj Tripathi as manager Man Singh, are among the other members of the cast that have been confirmed.

According to reports, director Kabir Khan has confirmed that the shoot for the film will begin from May and will continue till August. Most of this shoot will take place in London as the 1983 cricket world cup was held in England.
