While Khel Khel Mein is the first official remake of the Italian flick, the story has previously been adapted for the Malayalam movie 12th Man. Featuring an ensemble cast led by Mohanlal, the film was premiered directly on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar. However, many remain unaware of the film.
