Saand Ki Aankh: Taapsee & Bhumi share teaser of new song 'Womaniya'
After releasing the first track of Saand Ki Aankh, the makers are now releasing the second song, Womaniya. Taapsee and Bhumi have shared the teaser of the song.

Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar are all geared up for their upcoming film, Saand Ki Aankh. The film marks the first time the duo will be coming together on screen. The film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and bankrolled by Anurag Kashyap and Reliance Entertainment. Saand Ki Aankh is slated to release on October 25, 2019.
What is the movie about?
Saand Ki Aankh is based on the true story of the world's oldest sharpshooters, Chandro and Prakashi Tomar played by Bhumi and Taapsee respectively. The film has been shot extensively in Uttar Pradesh. The film showcases the story of two brave spirits who fight against societal stereotypes and make it big. Saand Ki Aankh is an inspirational and motivational story of two women who do not give up on themselves.
Saand Ki Aankh's second song is on the way
The cast of Saand Ki Aankh, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar recently shared the teaser of their second song, Womaniya on their respective Instagram handles. By the looks of it, one can be assured that it will be a colourful affair. The teaser shows us a younger version of Taapsee and Bhumi as opposed to their octogenarian roles in the majority of the film. In addition to this, both Taapsee and Bhumi have shared various stills of them from the song as well. The two are seen in a jolly and festive mood. The film was initially named Womaniya but due to legal controversies, the makers decided to title it Saand Ki Aankh.
The first track of Saand ki Aankh, Udta Teetar was released a few days back. The track has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Jyoti Nooran. The song is also the title track of the film. Udta Teetar is a peppy and energetic number. It has already received a huge thumbs up from the audience.
The audience is excited to see Taapsee and Bhumi on the silver screen for the first time. The trailer of the film has already crossed 15 million views on Youtube. Saand Ki Aankh also stars veteran actor Prakash Jha in a pivotal role. The film hits the screens this Diwali 2019.
