Saand Ki Aankh: Taapsee Pannu shares behind-the-scene pictures

Saand Ki Aankh is an upcoming biopic about the oldest female sharpshooters in the world. The film stars talented and renowned actors Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. The trailer for the film is already out and fans seem excited about the film. Taapsee Pannu also shared two stills from the film to promote it and inform her fans about the release of the trailer.

Taapsee Pannu shared the stills on her social media account on the same day as the release of the trailer for the movie. She even captioned the post saying that the trailer is going to be out on that day and that it was time to celebrate. One of the stills seems to be from a song in the movie as the cast are seen dancing in costume. The second one depicts Taapsee and Bhumi in character as they aim with their pistols at an unseen target.

Saand Ki Aankh will tell the tale of two of the oldest sharpshooters in the world, Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. The two elderly sharpshooters are real-life athletes and the film is going to be a dramatised retelling of their journey of becoming national-level shooters. Taapsee will play the role of Prakashi Tomar while Bhumi will play the role of her sister in law Chandro Tomar. The film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani. The producers for the movie are Reliance Entertainment and Chalk and Cheese Flims. Chandro Tomar is often referred to as Shooter Dadi and is currently 87 years old, while her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar is nicknamed Revolver Dadi and is now 82 years old. Both the sharpshooters began their career in their 60s. 

The filming for the movie started on February 10, 2019. In April the shooting ended according to Taapsee's social media post on the topic. Both Taapsee and Bhumi learnt how to shoot a rifle and pistol for their roles in the film.
