Saif Ali Khan shares his experience of working for Laal Kaptaan

Saif Ali Khan is all set to narrate a revenge-saga on the screen with his upcoming film Laal Kaptaan. The trailer of the film was released by makers in three parts and intrigued the audience a lot about the film. The makers also shared a BTS post from the film. The video unveiled Saif's transformation into a Naga Sadhu. Take a look at the video.

In the video, Saif's effort to get into the shoes of his character is visible. From look test to sword training and horse riding, it is seen how each phase was scary and interesting for him at the same time. Saif also opened up about his experience of working in the film in an interview. While sharing his experience with an online news portal, Saif spoke about how he enjoyed shooting for the film. 

Talking about the film, Saif mentioned that he had a good experience while working on something different than the mainstream films. He said that he loved the era in which the background of the film is set. Explaining about the effort of the team of Laal Kaptaan, he thanked the director of the film Navdeep Singh for giving him this opportunity.

On being compared with Jack Sparrow, the actor replied that the character of a Naga Sadhu and its appearance is very organic and the team has tried to keep the look original. Adding to it, he mentioned that there are only a couple of visuals where his looks are similar to Jack Sparrow in the film because of the bandana. He also shared that it was not easy for him in the beginning but with time, he could get into the mood of his character.

Laal Kaptaan is slated to release on October 18, 2019. The film is directed by Navdeep Singh under the banner of Colour Yellow Production along with Eros International. Laal Kaptaan also features Sonakshi Sinha, Zoya Hussain, and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles among others.
