Sajid Khan's Mother's death: Filmmaker sibling duo Sajid Khan and Farah Khan lost their mother Menka Irani on July 26. Menka Irani, breathed her last due to age-related illness. Several celebrities and friends of the family visited their residence to offer their condolence. Days later, Sajid has now shared a photo with his mother.

On August 4, Sajid Khan took to his Instagram account to share a photo with his mother. This comes almost a week after the passing of his mother. He shared a photo from his childhood. 

He shared the photo with the caption, “Still can't believe you are gone...luv u forever mummy.." 

This last month has been a revelation: When Farah Khan penned a note for her mother

On July 12, Farah Khan took to her Instagram account to pen a note for her mother on the occasion of her birthday. The filmmaker shared a couple of photos with her mother with a caption in which she talked about ‘taking mothers for granted’. Though she did not disclose what illness Menka was battling, Khan mentioned that she was discharged from the hospital that day. 

The director wrote in the caption, “We all take our mothers for granted..especially me! This last month has been a revelation on how much i lov my mom Menka.. she s been the strongest, bravest person iv ever seen.. sense of humour intact even after multiple surgeries.” She continued, “Happy birthday mom! Today’s a good day to come back home ♥️ can’t wait for you to get strong enough to start fighting with me again.. i Lov u”
