Sanya Malhotra announces her next film, 'Pagglait'; read for more details

Sanya Malhotra has won many hearts with her exceptional performances in many of her films. The actor who is known for choosing diverse roles has yet another surprise for her fans as she recently announced her upcoming film titled Pagglait. She took to her social media as she shared some pictures from the first-day shoot of Pagglait through the Instagram story where Sanya Malhotra was seen holding a film clap in the picture.

The actress has not divulged many details about the film plot or other cast members in this movie. However, the film will be directed by Umesh Bist and produced by Guneet Monga under her banner of Sikhya Entertainment. Pagglait is set to release next year.

Sanya Malhotra - her upcoming films

Malhotra was last seen in Ritesh Batra's Photograph where she starred alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui. As for her other film projects, Sanya Malhotra will also be part of a biographical film Shakuntala Devi which also stars Vidya Balan as Shakuntala Devi. Sanya will be seen portraying the role of Vidya Balan’s daughter Anupama Banerjee. Actor Jisshu Sengupta will also be seen in a pivotal role.

Sanya Malhotra is also scheduled to star in another untitled film by Anurag Basu where she will be paired opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is said to be a dark-comedy and has a star-studded cast that features the likes of Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Pankaj Tripathi. Both of her films are slated to release next year.
