The critically acclaimed film is competing strongly with the recent mass-entertainer films Dream Girl and Chhichhore. Trade reports indicate that the film might collect above ₹20 crores at the box-office in the next few days. The latest reports suggest that the film currently stands at ₹12.49 crores in terms of box-office collection.

While sharing the details of her character in the film she revealed that she will be essaying the role of a Public Prosecutor. She further added that her role was challenging and she really enjoyed working with such a great cast and director.

The story of the film appeals that there are women who misuse this Section for their advantages are a menace to society. The courtroom drama has a logical debate along with compelling dialogues.
The Panorama Studios and T-Series helm the film along with PVR Pictures and Anand Pandit Motion. The film was first premiered at Singapore South Asian International Film Festival. The direction and additional screenplay of the film are done by Ajay Bhal. The film was released alongside Ayushmann Khurrana's mass-entertainer Dream Girl on the 13th of September.
