Shahid Kapoor to act in Jersey's hindi remake?

Shahid Kapoor, who is basking in the success of Kabir Singh, has reportedly finalised his next project. Following his last choice which was the remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Devarakonda, Shahid has again opted for a remake. Reports suggest that Shahid will star in the Hindi remake of Jersey that features superstar Nani and debutant Shraddha Shrinath in lead roles. He was approached for the remake soon after Kabir Singh released and it is said that he loved the script but was in two-minds on doing another remake. However, after taking his time, Shahid committed and gave a go-ahead to Jersey remake. The original director Gowtham Tinnauri is said to helm the remake. Reports also add that currently, the makers are rewriting the script according to the taste of the Hindi speaking audience and will announce the details in a month. It seems that that the female lead of the film is yet to be finalised. There are speculations that actors like Rashmika Mandana and Geetha Govindam are being approached for the film.
