Some of his notable works are Vivah, Chup Chup Ke, Deewane Huye Paagal, to his latest films like Padmaavat and Udta Punjab. With so many successful movies in his name, Shahid said that the success of Kabir Singh came at the right time for him. Here is why the star said so. Shahid expressed that he believes in destiny, and a lot of people had told him that he had to wait for 15 years for a hit movie of this scale. He also feels that if he had not waited for such a long period, then he would have not truly appreciated his success and would not have respected it. He also added that it is a failure that makes you a man. He said this a metaphor as when boys get to walk the carpet of success, it can get pulled away. A man will get up and stand, whereas the boy will get knocked out.
