Shakuntala Devi biopic: Sanya Malhotra joins Vidya Balan in the cast

Shooting for Vidya Balan's much-anticipated venture, based on mathematics genius Shakuntala Devi, commenced on September 16. Now, makers have revealed that 'Dangal' girl Sanya Malhotra will also be a part of the project. As per media reports, she will be taking up the role of Vidya Balan’s daughter in ‘Shakuntala Devi’. She will join the cast in London by the end of this month. She also wrote a number of books in her later years, including novels as well as texts about mathematics, puzzles, and astrology. Her book 'The World of Homosexuals', is considered the first study of homosexuality in India. She treated homosexuality in an understanding of light and is considered a pioneer in the field.
