She said that she believes that pain is inevitable and cannot be avoided even if your parents are together. She mentioned that divorces come as news to other people, but to the people in the family, it is not news. She said that she was happy that her parents did what they did because they are both wonderful human beings and deserved happiness in their own parameters. According to Shruti Haasan, the whole process of a divorce is “a sad thing”. She said that if it is not working, one should not try to glue it together because when the storm will hit, it will all fall apart so it is better to separate.
