Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan new poster out, Ayushmann is running alongside brides & grooms

The new poster of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan starring Ayushmann Khurrana’s has been revealed. The film’s new release date has also been revealed in the poster. Read on to know more about the film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and why its release date was changed.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan new poster out!

The makers of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan which is the sequel of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan has revealed a new poster of the film. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana once again in the lead role. Ayushmann Khurrana shared the new poster of the film on Instagram. In the new Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan poster, Ayushmann Khurrana is sporting a red and black superhero suit and is running. In the background, Ayushmann’s character is surrounded by a few brides and bridegrooms. In the caption of his picture, Ayushmann Khurrana also announced the new release date of the film. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan was set to release on March 13, 2020. But now Ayushmann and the makers of the film have announced that Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is set to release on February 21, 2020.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan dealt with the topic of erectile dysfunction and its effects on a recently engaged couple, but the sequel deals with a completely different issue. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan deals with the story of a conservative family who comes to terms with the fact that their son is homosexual. The sequel will also star Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao who played the supporting roles in the film Badhaai Ho as Ayushmann Khurrana’s parents.

Why was the release date changed?

Aanand L Rai the producer of the film spoke to a media publication regarding the change in the release date of the film.  He was quoted in the interview stating that Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is a complete family film and they want the audience to see the film sooner. He further added that this led them to change the film’s release date to February since it also talks about love and Valentine’s Day is also celebrated in the same month.
