Sidharth Malhotra will be seen starring in Vishnuvarshan’s upcoming film, Shershaah. The film stars actors like Kiara Advani, Aakanksha Singh, and Sahil Vaid. The film is being produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta and written by Sandeep Shrivastava. The film is a biopic on the life of Vikram Baatra, who is known for his actions during the Kargil war of 1999. The film does not have an official release date yet.
Sidharth Malhotra continues shooting despite injury
Sidharth Malhotra is currently shooting for Shershaah at Kargil. The actor reportedly met an accident while riding a bike in Kargil. In an interview with a leading media portal, Sidharth Malhotra spoke about the accident that took place. He said that there could be an infection as they fell on the road. He added that the injury will take at least more than a week to heal. However, according to the schedule, he did not have much time to recover and hence decided to go forward with the shoot. He said that accidents like these are common and it could have been worse. He is expected to recover soon. The Ek Villain actor also spoke about his experience of shooting at Kargil. He said that most locations have sharp stones and rough land as they wanted to make the war zone look as authentic as possible. Sidharth Malhotra will be seen playing the role of Captain Vikram Batra, who died in the Kargil war of 1999.
Sidharth Malhotra to be seen next in Marjaavaan
Sidharth Malhotra has been promoting Milap Zaveri’s next, titled Marjaavaan. The film is expected to be an action romance written and directed by Milap Zaveri. The film stars actors like Riteish Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria in significant roles. Riteish Deshmukh can be seen playing the role of a dwarf in the film. Marjaavaan has been produced by Rameshchandra Yadav. The film is expected to hit the theatres on November 11, 2019.
