Speculations have been rife that due to this, Malhotra is all set to take a sabbatical from films. However, in a recent media interaction during his film 'Marjaavaan' trailer release, the actor said, "Every actor thinks about what he wants from a film before signing it. This film is an ode to all the heroes that I have seen in Hindi movies. The director and producer trio were last seen in 2018, for the film Satyamev Jayate. The action-drama was loved by the audience and was a box office hit.
