Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are all set to get married on June 23. Ahead of it, rumours have been rife that Shatrughan Sinha will not be attending the wedding ceremony. Well, the veteran star put the rumours to the rest once and for all by arriving at Zaheer’s house late Thursday night. He was accompanied by his wife Poonam Sinha, who is said to have unfollowed Sonakshi on Instagram.

Shatrughan Sinha gives blessings to Zaheer Iqbal

In a video going viral on the Internet, Zaheer can be seen welcoming the Sinha family at his house. Soon after Shatrughan Sinha stepped out of the car, he hugged his soon-to-be son-in-law and together they posed for the paparazzi stationed outside the complex. The 77-year-ol also obliged to the request of saying “Khamosh”.
 

Sonakshi, who was also seen arriving at Zaheer’s house, didn’t pose for the camera and rushed inside the apartment building. This was the first time she was snapped ahead of her wedding.

Shatrughan Sinha shuts down rumours of rife

On the morning of June 20, popular paparazzo Varinder Chawla took to his account to share that Shatrughan Sinha has shut down rumours of being upset about Sonakshi’s wedding. In the past, he shared that senior Sinha would be attending the wedding. “Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I am very proud of and immensely fond of. She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will certainly be there at the wedding. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?” the post read. Addressing the fake reports, he said, “I would like to caution them with my signature dialogue: Khamosh, it’s none of your business. Mind only your business.”

The couple, who has been dating each other for 7 years now, has finally decided to take a plunge. They will have a court marriage on June 23, followed by an intimate celebration later that day at Bastian in Mumbai. It will be attended by their family and close friends.
