Sonakshi Sinha started her career with Salman Khan starrer Dabangg. The movie was a box office hit, and the actor was appreciated for her performance as Rajjo. After starring in blockbuster movies like Rowdy Rathore, Son of Sardaar, Dabangg 2, among others, the actor saw a downward curve in her career with many movies of the star failing to impress the audience. The movie, starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead, was the directorial debut of Shilpi Dasgupta. The movie released on August 2, 2019, narrated the tale of a woman who inherits her distant uncle's sex clinic. The film was a box office debacle, but the critics lauded Sonakshi's performance in the film.

Noor (2017)

All these movies could not meet the audience's expectation, but the critics applauded Sonakshi's roles in the films. Her last movie, Mission Mangal, entered the coveted ₹ 200-Crore Club. The audiences are awaiting her next release Dabangg 3. The movie starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead, is slated to release on December 20, 2019.
