The occasion of Karwa Chauth is considered as one of the most important days for married couples. Many celebrities will celebrate their first Karwa Chauth this year. Being one of the most loved couples, Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja, who tied the knot in May 2018, will be ringing in their second Karwa Chauth this year. To mark the occasion last year, Sonam posted a picture for Anand and in comments, the couple discussed their plans for Karwa Chauth. To caption the picture Sonam wrote, "I hope to live my best life with you always my love.. and to being the most progressive, compassionate and gentleman I know. Anand, while defending himself, and to tease Sonam, gave a reply in the comments section, " “I didn't bully you! I just said that I'm fasting if you're fasting, and if we don't fast we can just walk around and workout and enjoy the day together! Does that sound like bullying? That sounds like intelligence to me." Sonam mentioned while replying to his comment that he (Anand) cannot control his hunger.

Sonam Kapoor was last seen with Dulqeer Salmaan in the film The Zoya Factor. The film was a debacle at the box-office. Reportedly, the actor is busy in shooting for Shashank Ghosh directorial titled Battle of Bitorra. Apart from it, the makers of her 2018's hit film Veerey Di Wedding are reportedly planning a sequel of it.
