When Sonam Kapoor paid tribute to Karl Lagerfeld

Bollywood actor, Sonam Kapoor who is known for her style and fashion, paid a heartfelt tribute to Chanel’s designer and one of the biggest names in the fashion industry, the late Karl Lagerfeld, a few months back. The fashion world looked back on Karl Lagerfeld’s life and legacy. Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor is amongst those many who were paying tributes to the late Karl Lagerfeld as it was announced that the designer passed away at the age of 85. To pay her respects, Sonam Kapoor posted on her Instagram account and captioned it with a quote by Karl Lagerfeld himself. The photograph featured her with the late designer and Frieda Pinto.

About Karl Lagerfeld

The 85-year-old Karl Lagerfeld passed away on Tuesday in a hospital in Paris after an illness. Karl’s final collection was the January’s spring/summer 2019 for the haute couture show in Paris, in an elaborate set resembling a Mediterranean villa – a romantic, idyllic vision that was staged in the Grand Palais as snow fell outside. The designer served as the creative director for brands like Chanel and Fendi.

Many other stars have paid a tribute to the late designer, including Bella Hadid, David Beckham, Eva Chen.

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor was last seen in the film The Zoya Factor with Dulquer Salmaan. The film was reportedly a debacle at the box-office. According to reports, Sonam is busy shooting for her upcoming film Battle of Bitorra which is helmed by Shashank Ghosh and the makers of her film Veerey Di Wedding are reportedly planning another sequel of it.
