Sunny Leone cancels act in Abhimanyu despite significant preparation
Actor Sunny Leone will no longer be a part of the Indian classical dance show in Broadway-style, "Abhimanyu" which was to be performed at Ahmedabad in November.
Sunny leone has decided to not perform in the musical Abhimanyu. Sunny Leone who was all set to perform in the Broadway style Indian classical dance show 'Abhimanyu' took to Twitter to announce to her fans that she will no longer be a part of the show. The dance for this show was to be choreographed by Kathak maestro Sandeep Mahavir and had a combination of Kathak and hip-hop.

What was Abhimanyu about?
Mahavir had claimed that Abhimanyu records the journey of a dancer. Different authentic dance forms and music were to be used to portray this journey. Sandeep Mahavir had further emphasized that it was the selection of the artistes that was the main USP of the musical Broadway-style show. He believed that Bollywood actor Sunny Leone would do complete justice to the character.
However, as mentioned in her tweet, Sunny Leone has decided to withdraw her participation from the show which was to be held in Ahmedabad from November 8 to 10. The musical Broadway Abhimanyu was scheduled to begin in Ahmedabad and would have been taken forward as a global tour.
Sunny Leone's current work in Bollywood
On the work front, Sunny Leone will next be seen in a song in Motichoor Chaknachoor, which features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty in the lead roles. The song is called Battiyan Bujhaado and features not only Sunny but also Nawazuddin dancing to the groovy beats composed by Ramji Gulati and sung by Jyotica Tangri. Sunny Leone plays the typical seductress while Nawazuddin Siddiqui can be seen as a shy, yet eager, man in the song.
