Sushant Singh Rajput was asked if he congratulated Ankita Lokhande in person on her Bollywood debut, Here's his response

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput recently congratulated his ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande's look as Jhalkari Bai from her upcoming film 'Manikarnika'. Recently, the 'Kedarnath' actor interacted with the media during Star Screen Awards and was asked if he had congratulated Ankita in person about her Bollywood debut.

In response to the question, Singh said "I saw the picture and I really liked it. I wanted to congratulate her on that so, I did it." When Sushant was asked if he personally congratulated Ankita on her Bollywood debut, the actor said to PTI, "I am the same person on the digital platform and in my real life. So, whatever comment I made on that post was not to show off to people. I really wanted to congratulate her." The Raabta actor added, "She (Ankita Lokhande) also replied to my comment. I feel there wasn't need for any separate conversation."

As for Ankita Lokhande, when she was asked about Sushant Singh Rajput's comment on her post she replied saying she would not like to comment about the matter. However, Ankita had earlier acknowledged Sushant's comment on the post and had replied: "Thank you, Sushant. I wish you the same."

For the uninitiated, Sushant and Ankita were the power couple in the Television industry when their show 'Pavitra Rishta' was on air. Since their break-up, the former has become a known face in Bollywood, while the actress is doing her first full-fledged project since their TV show ended.
