On Gandhi Jayanti, Tollwood released a film on the first freedom fighter of the century. Titled Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, the movie stars Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah Bhatia, among others. The movie released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada is receiving appreciation from all quarters. 

The movie narrates the tale of freedom fighter Uyyalwada Narasimha Reddy. Reportedly, Reddy was the first voice of revolt against the British rule in India. However, many historians claim that Narasimha Reddy fought for his right for pension, nothing as massive as the film portrays. The criticism from the historians has neither deterred the box office collection nor praises for the movie.
