The movie is based on a real-life incident of a train burning in 2002 in Godhra, Gujarat. In the movie, Vikrant plays the role of a journalist, who is on a mission to uncover the truth behind the horrific incident. As it's been a week since the film's release, it had a lukewarm performance at the box office in India.The movie had a low opening at ₹1.25 crore but over the weekend it witnessed a considerable spike in the collection. However, the real test for it was Monday, and it failed even to maintain a steady pace. On Monday, the movie witnessed a major drop of 61.67 per cent in the daily collection.
