Vaani Kapoor: The actor shares her experience of working in War
Vaani Kapoor has returned after a three-year-long break to Bollywood with her action-thriller movie titled War. The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff
Vaani Kapoor was seen on the silver screen three years ago in Befikre. After the long span, she starred in the action thriller movie War alongside Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Vaani began her career with Yash Raj Films who also produced War. She went through a lot of hardships while prepping for the role in the film.
Vaani's confession on being a part of War
In a recent interview, when asked about being starred opposite two male leads who will potentially overshadow her performance in the film, Vaani responded saying that she was fine with it as she always wanted to be a part of an action film because she has always been an action-film fanatic. She also added that she is loving the positive feedback that she has been getting from the audiences because she had to work hard on herself to get the physique that the script demanded.
War has been directed by Siddharth Anand and according to Siddharth, Vaani was the perfect choice for the role of Naina. Siddharth further added that he wanted to cast a super fit girl in the movie because she had to be cast opposite one of the most handsome heroes of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan. For Him, Vaani checked all the boxes as she also worked hard to achieve the physique that she has in the film.
The 30-year-old actor does not seem to mind the centre stage being taken by both her male costars in the film. According to Vaani, her role in the movie is a pivotal one and has its own graph in the film as it is adequately linked with the storyline of the film. Vaani also said that her screentime may be less in the film, but she plays a crucial role in the film plays and what she loved more about the film was to get to work with Hrithik and Tiger as her co-stars in the film because according to her, both of them are excellent with acting, action, and dancing.
