This film will be the first installment in the Bhoot series. Bhoot: Part 1-The Haunted Ship is expected to be a two-part series. It also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role alongside Vicky Kaushal. This film will also mark the debut of both the actors in the horror genre.
Not much about the film has been revealed yet. The lead, Vicky Kaushal, shared the film’s first look on his social media.
It was recently revealed in an interview that Bhoot is based on a true story. It is a real story based on a ‘ghost ship’ that washed ashore on the Mumbai coast a few years ago. Going by the responses the poster and actors have received, the fans seem pretty excited for this movie.
Unfortunately, fans now have to wait a little longer for the film. This change of plans was reportedly done to avoid a clash at the Box Office. Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala has also changed its release date despite Bhoot being released next year. Karan Johar made the official date change announcements on his social media.
