Auditions are intimidating, believes actor Vicky Kaushal. The actor revealed his views on auditions in a tete-a-tete with a news publisher. The actor had a word of advice for all struggling actors and also revealed details about his first audition. Here are all the details about what Vicky Kaushal called a 'horrific audition'.

The actor started his career in the entertainment industry with Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur. He was the second unit director in the 2012 hit movie. After the wrap of the franchise, he decided to try his hand at acting. The first-ever film audience he gave was for Farhan Akthar starrer Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The audition was conducted by Honey Trehan. Reportedly the audition continued for three to four hours, and in Kuashal's words, he was bad in the audition. Unfortunately, the actor did not clear the audition. But a bad start did not deter his aspirations. Vicky started working in theatre, for about four years before returning to Bollywood with Neeraj Ghaywan's Masaan.
