Virat Kohli shares he was 'nervous' to meet Anushka the first time

Indian skipper Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma have been couple goals for the world since they started dating. Both of them have been proud supporters of each other and have never been shy to flaunt their love. Virat Kohli was interviewed by American Sports Reporter Graham Bensinger on his show. In the interview, he shared the story of the meeting with his lady love Anushka Sharma for the first time at a commercial shoot.

In the interview, Virat spoke candidly about his relationship with now wife Anushka Sharma, their top secret wedding and their honeymoon in Finland. When asked about the development of his equation with Anushka post meeting her at the commercial shoot, he said that they were talking about things that a lot of people do not connect with. They connected on similar interests and experiences. Virat said that they come from middle class families, made it in their respective careers, worked hard, got to a certain stage. They even began their careers in 2008. With so many common factors between them, they connected immediately.

Virat further answered questions regarding his wedding. He said that the entire wedding was planned by Anushka, since he was in the middle of a series. She was the one to finalise the location and was extremely specific for the wedding to be confidential for the couple.

With a guest list of only 42 people including only close family and friends, the wedding was done under strict security surveillance. The location was even a secret for the guests at the wedding. Virat also went on to share about a memorable incident from their honeymoon in Finland.

Instead of taking a look at the Northern lights they were met with continuous snowfall for three days and had met an Indian guy with the same surname 'Kohli' as the Indian skipper.

Anushka Sharma was last seen in Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan, the film also starred Katrina Kaif. According to media reports, Anushka will be next seen Shekhar Kapur’s Paani opposite her PK co-star Sushant Singh Rajput. Anushka’s husband Virat Kohli also lead his team to a stunning win in the recently concluded test series against West Indies. The team is currently prepping for its next T20 match against South Africa on September 15, 2019.
