Actor Vivek Oberoi reacted to PM Modi's Howdy event & exulted, 'Statesmanship at its best', He wrote, "Our hearts swell with pride and are won, once again!".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a mega crowd of 50,000 people of the Indian-American community in Houston, Texas. PM Modi was joined by US President Donald Trump at the NRG Stadium. During his speech, PM Modi spoke about a variety of issues and achievements.

Reacting to the same, = 'Statesmanship at its best', Vivek Oberoi wrote, "Our hearts swell with pride and are won, once again!". He then went on to thank Prime Minister Modi for making everyone in the country extremely proud to be an India. We had all only imagined this, you turned it into reality. PM Modi and Donald Trump greeted each other and walked the red carpet to the stage at the NRG Stadium. Both the leaders were welcomed onto the stage and the National Anthems of both India and the US were played. This was the first time that both the leaders were sharing a stage together. Amid loud cheers and chants of 'Modi, Modi', the Prime Minister waved at the humongous 50,000 crowd gathered at the NRG Stadium.

Organized by the non-profit Texas India Forum, the event, with the tagline 'Shared Dreams, Bright Futures', highlighted the tremendous contribution of Indo-Americans in the United States and the strong and lasting partnership between the US and India. The cultural program preceding Prime Minister Modi's address showcased Indian-American artists from Texas and elsewhere, portrayed how the community is woven into the larger tapestry of American life. It involved broad-based community participation across the United States.
