War box-office: Breaks all 2019 records, leaves Salman, Akshay behind

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer WAR has hit the ball out of the park and set the box-office on fire. On Day 5, Siddharth Anand directorial emerges the highest grossing 'extended' weekend of 2019. The movie in just 5 days has crossed the lifetime business of Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari', Ajay Devgn's Total Dhamaal and Prabhas' Saaho (hindi version), Sushant Singh Rajput's Chhichhore, Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy and Hrithik's own film Super 30.

Trade analyst and film-critic Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to share the numbers and the records broken by the film. He also predicted that Hrithik-Tiger's film will soon overtake the lifetime business of Salman Khan's 'Bharat'. The movie collected Rs. 36.10 crore on Day 5 (Sunday), taking the overall number to Rs. 159.70 crore. Taran Adarsh highlighted the fact that the film is packing a solid punch in all the directions and shared the Tamil+Telugu numbers too.
