Hrithik and Tiger react to War’s 300-crore achievement

In an interview with a leading daily, Hrithik Roshan confessed that he considers War as a sensational success. The actor added that the film has redefined the films and action genre in India. Roshan remarked that his labour of sweat, blood and hard work finally paid off, as the movie performed brilliantly at the box office. Actor Tiger Shroff, too, was overwhelmed with the movie’s success. In a media interaction, Tiger Shroff revealed that he considers War’s success as a team effort. The actor thanked his fans for the immense love and appreciation he garnered for his performance in the film. War marks the first onscreen association of Tiger and Hrithik Roshan.

War, a record-breaking movie

A Siddharth Anand directorial, War impressed masses of fans across the country with its story-line and unique star-cast. The action entertainer is hailed as a landmark film in the history of Indian cinema, as the movie reportedly managed to rake in a business of ₹ 54.45 crores of the first day of its release. War is reported to be the eighth-highest grossing film of all time, breaking the record of the Ranveer Singh starrer, Padmaavat. The action entertainer is reportedly also the third highest-grossing film produced by Yash Raj films, after Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan.
