Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer 'Gully Boy' gets another powerful rap by their co-star Kalki Koechlin a.k.a. Sky from the movie. Kalki took to her Twitter handle and wrote: "Aye Bantai! Check out the rap I made on Gully Beat! Listen to 'Where's my filter coffee?' by Sky-High#GullyBeat #FindYourVoice [sic]"

Koechlin's self-written poem has always been impactful and this raw and real version of 'Coffee' is something everyone should listen to. The contemporary references and powerful imagery she puts in her lines, leaves you wanting for more. The part where she says - 'Oh, I would like to read that literature that comes on a tray, I'd like to read it but I will read it later. Besides, I know what it says - the talks about a free trade between the kind American aid and the poor Columbians. And when they advertise it like that, I know it's fat..... and that's why I don't mind so much that my coffee tastes like s**t.' - is brilliant.

Kalki's previous poetry 'Noise' and 'The Printing Machine' in the past too impressed a lot of people and was appreciated for the multiple layers Kalki brings in her poetry.

Talking about 'Gully Boy', Kalki has a small yet strong role in Zoya Akhtar's directorial. She plays the character 'Sky', a music student who gives Ranveer Singh a.k.a 'Gully Boy' the first break by shooting his song in the streets. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, and Kalki has collaborated with her for the first time. Koechlin reportedly opened up about her experience with Alia and said that she has only one scene with Alia, where she acts pretty violent with her. Koechlin further asserted that she admires Alia a lot as an actor because she is doing a lot of the 'out-of-the-box stuff'.

Gully Boy has been making all the right noise on the box-office. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#GullyBoy is back on track... Records 80.77% growth on [second] Sat [vis-à-vis second Fri]... Metros - in Mumbai circuit specifically - are calling the shots... [Week 2] Fri 3.90 cr, Sat 7.05 cr. Total: ₹ 111.25 cr. India biz."

On the professional front, Kalki Koechlin will next be seen in Amazon Prime Video’s 'Made in Heaven' and the second season of 'Sacred Games'.
