Zaheer Iqbal's Family The Real Reason Behind Sonakshi Sinha's Brother Luv Skipping Her Wedding

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's wedding announcement earlier in June came as a surprise to many, including her own family members. After the long-time couple made public their decision to get married, post a 7-year dating period, veteran actor and Shatrughan Sinha commented, “All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maap-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain (these days, children don't seek permission from parents, they just inform).“

It seemed like the family was unhappy with Sonakshi's decision to get married. The speculation was further fuelled by her brother Luv and Kush's absence from the pre-wedding ceremonies. Now, Luv has conformed that he did not attend his sister's wedding.

Luv confirms skipping Sonakshi Sinha's wedding

In a series of posts, Luv said that he did not attend his sister Sonakhsi Sinha's wedding to Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. Luv seemed to be hinting that he did not want to associate with the wedding because of Zaheer's father's dubious connections.

He posted a report in Telegraph India, an excerpt of which read, “With carefully curated news stories about his family business, nobody tread grey areas like the groom’s father’s proximity to a politician whose ED enquiries had vanished in the “washing machine”. Nor was there a whiff of the groom’s father’s stint in Dubai….”
