Zeenat Aman shares first glimpse as Sitara Jaan from comeback film Bun Tikki

Zeenat Aman shares first look from film Bun Tikki

Zeenat Aman took to her Instagram handle to share a glimpse of herself dressed as her character from upcoming film, Bun Tikki. The veteran actress is currently in Shimla shooting for the same. Named Sitara Jaan, it was, in Aman's own words, essaying this character that made her fall in love with the saree's silhouette once again.

Her caption to the post read, "The weather was cold but the atmosphere was warm this past week in Shimla. I’ve been shooting for ‘Bun Tikki’ and it is sheer pleasure to work with such a gracious cast and crew. Long hours, interesting role, mountain views, beautiful costumes… life really can come full circle it seems. I was doing just this in my twenties! Here’s a glimpse of the elegant Sitara jaan, a character who, amongst other things, has rekindled my love for saris."

Zeenat Aman recently rang in her birthday in Shimla

The shoot for Bun Tikki has been moving ahead in Shimla, which is where the veteran actress also rang in her 72nd birthday on November 19. The actress shared a picture of herself in the midst of Shimla's lush greenery along side a note detailing all that she was grateful for - particularly the resilience and foresight her unpleasant experiences have given her.

Bun Tikki stars Zeenat Aman alongside Shabana Azmi and Abhay Deol. Directed by Faraz Arif Ansari, Bun Tikki marks Manish Malhotra's debut venture as a producer.
