Alia Bhatt's mother Soni Razdan opens up about granddaughter Raha, calls her 'biggest joy'

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's daughter Raha Kapoor, has consciously been kept out of the public eye ever since her much awaited birth in November of 2022. However, both Alia and Ranbir, and now also Raha's grandmother Soni Razdan. Recently, Soni Razdan opened up about how she spends time with her granddaughter.

Soni Razdan calls Raha Kapoor the biggest joy of her life

In a media bite for Filmygyan, Soni Razdan could be seen opening up about the beautiful bond she is cultivating with granddaughter Raha Kapoor. Razdan called Raha the biggest joy of her life, also reflecting on how fortunate she felt to see her growing up before her. She also shared how it is different with Raha as she is being able to give her more time than she could manage for her own daughters Alia and Shaheen owing to her busy schedule back in the day.

Soni further elaborated how when she became a mother, she was short, both on time and with help to truly live in the moment. With Raha however, she finds delight in just being able to spend time playing with her. She concluded by stating how it is an overall beautiful feeling she is thoroughly enjoying.

Soni Razdan is a doting mother and grandmother

Despite Soni Razdan's perspective on her not being able to give enough time to Alia and Shaheen, the two have time and again expressed their love and respect for her. Recently, as Razdan turned 67, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram handle to share throwback pictures from a birthday party of hers. Alia can be seen nestled in Soni's lap.
