Ambani Family Charters Falcon-2000 Jets, 100 Planes To Ferry Guests At Anant-Radhika Wedding: Report

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani is all set to marry his long-time girlfriend Radhika Merchant on July 12 in Mumbai. The wedding, like all other pre-wedding events, is slated to be a star-studded affair with dignitaries from the entertainment, sports and business world from across the world in attendance. In the lead-up to the big day, touted as the ‘wedding of the year’, it is now being reported that the host family has booked a fleet of planes for the convenience of their guests. 

3 Falcon 2000 jets, 100 planes booked for Ambanis' event 

As per new media reports ahead of the wedding, the Ambani family has chartered a fleet of planes to ferry guests from across the world. The CEO of Club One Air confirmed in a recent interview that his company has engaged three Falcon-2000 jets for the wedding. As per the official site of their company, “The Dassault Falcon 2000 is a French Business twin-engine jet and a member of Dassault Aviation's Falcon business jet line.” The plane has a capacity of seating 8-10 passengers. 

Speaking to Hindustan Times, the CEO of Club One Air Rajan Mehra confirmed the news and shared, “The guests are coming from all over and each aircraft will make multiple trips across the country.” He also confirmed that over 100 private planes will also be made available for the event. 

Traffic advisory issued in Mumbai ahead of Anant-Radhika wedding

Mumbai will witness a sea of stars descending at the Jio World Convention Center, Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai in the coming days due to the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding and post-wedding celebrations. To ensure smooth traffic from July 12-15, city authorities announced diversions and road closures around the Jio World Convention Center.
 

Key roads will have restricted access, and alternate routes will be provided in Mumbai between July 12-15. Traffic flow adjustments include one-way streets and specific no-entry points for smooth vehicle movement during this period. The wedding festivities will be held on July 12, 13, 14 and 15 and are expected to draw a large number of guests and VIP attendees. To facilitate their access and the overall traffic flow, the authorities have issued a comprehensive traffic advisory, which will be in effect during the specified time periods.
