Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh's unseen clip from wedding festivity goes viral on their anniversary

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in Lake Como Italy on November 14, 2018. Five years after their wedding, the couple decided to release their official wedding video, which was been kept under wraps until now. A new video from their wedding is now doing the rounds on social media. In the visual, the couple can be seen happy and excited to embark on the new journey as husband and wife. 

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh say ‘tathastu’ after completing pheras

Just a few days ago, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh released the official video of their wedding ceremony. Now, the official videographer from the ceremony took to their Instagram account to share unseen glimpses from their D-day. The clip begins with Ranveer Singh arriving at the venue with the baraat to take his bride. 

The visuals then shows the bride Deepika Padukone looking ethereal as she walks down the aisle in her custom Sabyasachi lehenga. After they conclude the pheras, both Deepika and Ranveer join hands to greet the guests and chant ‘tathastu’ (blessed) in unison. Sharing the video from the ceremony, the official videographer wrote, “We took the lines of the Laavaas sung at a Gurudwara during an Anand Karaj and turned it into this. Words cannot describe the joy of crafting of something this beautiful. Happy Anniversary Deepika and Ranveer. Thank you for the memories! ” 

Ranveer Singh reveals how he proposed to Deepika Padukone 

Ranveer Singh and his wife Deepika Padukone recently appeared at a chat show and shared about the dreamy proposal he had planned for his ladylove in Maldives. Talking about the proposal, Ranveer said: “We go to the Maldives and I am secretly carrying the ring with me, we do the sandbank adventure where a boat takes us out to the middle of the sea and there is just one tiny sliver of sand in the middle and all around is just nothing, it's just sea, just infinite sea.”  “They drop you over there, they put up a tent for you, you can chill there for the day, then they leave. It was just her and me in the middle of the sea. I was like, this is it, I have done it. It was the perfect scenario. I also admit that I kind of phasoed her,” he shared. 

Ranveer further revealed: “I said I am going to make this proposal scene so picture perfect that she won't be able to say no, she will be compelled to say yes. So, they dropped us off and left, it was just her and me on the island. I popped the question and gave her the ring, she didn't expect it, she got emotional and that was it. She said yes and I felt like the king of the world and yeah, we were engaged.” He went on: “We come straight from Maldives and we go to Bangalore because that was my big masterplan. We will be there for a day or two and on the third day, I will sit the family down and tell them that, look I am truly, madly, deeply in love with your daughter. I have proposed marriage to her and she has said yes, I had everything prepared for her.”
