Diljit's Hyderabad Concert: Dil-Luminati Setlist Changes, Naina To Lover - 15 Songs He Can't Play

Diljit Dosanjh Hyderabad Concert: The GOAT singer brought his Dil-luminati tour to India on October 25. So far, the Lover singer has performed his biggest hits live in Delhi and Jaipur, with the next stop in Hyderabad. Fans have been grooving non-stop to his Punjabi beats, but each electrifying show seems to stir fresh controversy. As Hyderabad prepares to host his performance on November 15, the Telangana government has imposed restrictions on songs referencing alcohol and drugs just hours before the show. With this, the Dil-luminati tour song list got all tossed up as Diljit needed to rework his set.

Diljit Dosanjh to skip more than 10 hit songs from his Dil-Luminati album in Hyderabad

On November 15, the Telangana government imposed restrictions on the songs Diljit Dosanjh could perform during his Hyderabad concert. The notice, issued by the Department of Welfare of Women, Children, Disabled, and Senior Citizens (Rangareddy district), prohibited songs referencing violence, drugs, and alcohol. It also warned against involving children in the show.

The government highlighted that Diljit had performed songs promoting drugs, alcohol, and violence at his Delhi concerts on October 26 and 27, and such songs would not be permitted in Hyderabad.

Diljit Dosanjh curated many chart-topping hits including some of his best tracks in the Dil-luminate tour. However, many of his songs feature a bit of inappropriate lines including the mention of drugs, alcohol and female objectification. Now, due to the restrictions, Hyderabad audiences will miss out on over half of the setlist. The original lineup featured around 25 songs, including favourites like Naina, Lover, 5 Taara, case, Do You Know, Born To Shine, Clash, Khutti, Jatt Vailly, Putt Jatt Da, Laembadgini, Peaches, Hass Hass, Kharku, Vibes, Lemonade, Kinni Kinni, Ik Kudii, Patiala Peg, Mitran Da Junction, Wishkey and few more that tossed with internal plans. Now, more than 15 songs, such as 5 Taara, Case, Patiala Peg, and Piches, will be omitted from the tour setlist due to their references to drugs and alcohol.
