Imran Khan, girlfriend Lekha Washington's photos from Ira Khan's wedding go viral

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan recently tied the knot with Nupur Shikhare on January 3. The couple opted for a low-key registration ceremony, surrounded by close friends and family. Aamir's former wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao also graced the occasion and showcased the bond shared within the extended family.

Among the other attendees were Aamir's nephew Imran Khan, who was accompanied by his rumoured girlfriend, Lekha Washington. Although Imran and Lekha haven't officially confirmed their relationship, their public appearances tell a different tale. Imran looked dapper in a black suit whereas Lekha opted for a traditional attire.

Other notable personalities like Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani were also present at the occasion alongside Ira’s close friends including Prajakta Koli and Mithila Palkar.

Imran Khan’s first marriage

Imran Khan was previously married to Avantika Malik and has been in the spotlight for his rumoured relationship with Lekha Washington. The couple got married in 2011 and after eight years, rumours of their separation surfaced in 2019. Last year, it was confirmed that Imran and Avantika had officially parted ways however they continue to co-parent their daughter, Imara.

Imran and Lekha made headlines in 2021and at the same time Lekha shared a note on her Instagram handle and said, “Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard.”

Talking about his professional journey, Imran Khan made his debut in Bollywood with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na in 2008. Over the years, he featured in several Hindi films including Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and I Hate Luv Storys. His last theatrical release was the 2015 film Katti Batti opposite Kangana Ranaut.
