Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare wedding: Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao don nauvari sarees for haldi ceremony

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's pre-wedding ceremonies are underway. On Tuesday, January 2, Aamir Khan's ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao were snapped at Nupur's house for the Haldi ceremony. A video of the producer arriving at the venue with her friends is going viral on the internet.

In the viral video, Kiran Rao, dressed in a lavender Nauvari saree, can be seen interacting with Nupur's mother. They can be seen happily chatting and hugging each other. The Laal Singh Chaddha producer can be seen sporting a gajra to accentuate her Maharashtrian look. In another video, she was seen arriving at the venue with her friends holding goodies for the ceremony. 

A paparazzi shared the video and captioned it as "Kiran Rao clicked at Nupur Shikhare house for Haldi rituals." 

In another video, Reena Dutta, dressed in a green saree was seen posing for the paparazzi with Nupur and his mother. Check out the clip below:

On Monday, Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta's houses were seen all lit up to celebrate their daughter Ira's wedding. Ira's cousin Zayn Marie would officiate her wedding to Nupur. The couple is reported to get married tomorrow, January 3, followed by a court marriage. According to the sources, the couple will host a lavish reception in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where the entire industry will be invited. Last month, Ira shared a glimpse of her pre-wedding celebrations, by dropping a bunch of pictures from her Kelvan ceremony, a Marathi ritual. The families of the bride and groom invite each other for meals and exchange gifts in this ceremony.

Meanwhile, Nupur proposed to Ira during a triathlon in Italy in September 2022, followed by an official engagement party in Mumbai in December 2022 attended by Aamir Khan, Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao and Fatima Sana Sheikh, among others.
