Former President Donald Trump won the US presidency for a second term in one of the greatest political comebacks in American history, cruising past his Democratic rival Kamala Harris in a bitterly fought election. The victory by Trump is largely being seen as a remarkable comeback after he lost the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden which appeared to be the end of his political career.

As Harris geared up for the elections, she gained significant backing from Hollywood stars. After Trump's victory, BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut took potshots at the "clowns" who backed Harris as the next US president.
