A recent women's boxing match at the Paris Olympics has created a heavy uproar with many condemning the IOC for permitting Algerian 'female' boxer Imane Khelif to fight at the ongoing Olympics despite being disqualified from the women's world championships in 2023 for failing gender eligibility and testosterone tests. Imane Khelif, who identifies as a woman, was pitched against Italian boxer Angela Carini in a ring on Thursday, but within 46 seconds the match ended with Carini abandoning the bout.

Celebs such as Elon Musk, Logan Paul and JK Rowling have extended support to Angela Carini and called out the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for letting a 'man' play against a woman. Now, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has also joined the list and spoke against the Algerian boxer's controversial win.

Woke culture is the most unfair and unjust practice: Kangana Ranaut

Kangana took to her Instagram handle and penned a long note in a story extending support for the Italian boxer and voicing against the "woke culture". She shared a photo of Angela crying in the ring after she lost the match and broke her nose fighting Imane Khelif. She captioned the post as, "This girl had to fight a 7 feet tall naturally born male, who has all body parts like a natural male, he looks and behaves like a man, he beat her in the boxing ring like a male beats a female in physical abuse scenario but he says he identifies as a female so guess who won the women's boxing match?"

Pointing at woke culture, she wrote, that it is "the most unfair and unjust practice. Speak up before it is your baby girl whose job or medal taken away. #SaveWomenSports”.

In another post on Instagram, she opined, "So basically to be able to have a woke relationship (homosexual relationship) one partner must play female role and the other one must play a male role." She added, "They love to play stereotypical male female archetypes but simultaneously encourage regular women to be effeminate in the name of feminism. Hmmm…strange! Honestly, I love homosexuals, some of my closest friends are homosexuals and they are extremely talented and exceptionally brilliant. That's why I think they don't have to imitate any one for acceptance.”

She called them "super brilliant" and added that they should come out "exactly the way god made them". She concluded her note by saying that they deserve better and "we must make a safe world for them where they can be their natural authentic self and get equal opportunities.”
