Kichcha Sudeep meets Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka DK Shivakumar

Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep met with the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, DK Shivakumar. He met him in Bengaluru on Sunday, December 17. The actor has been quite vocal about his political issues and previously, during the Karnataka Assembly elections, he said that people should vote by keeping their issues in mind for their own welfare.

Kichcha Sudeep alerts individuals casting their vote during the elections?

During the previous Karnataka Assembly elections, Kichcha Sudeep asked individuals to be mindful before casting their vote. He said, "Issues are individuals and one should keep their issues in mind and vote accordingly. I've not come here as a celebrity, I've come here as an Indian and it's my responsibility."

Kiccha Sudeep records statement in defamation suit against producers

Kichcha Sudeep has filed a defamation suit against producers M N Kumar and N M Suresh. He even recorded a statement before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court, in Bengaluru.

Sudeep responded to allegations made by two producers, stating they falsely accused him during a press conference regarding money paid for a house construction in Rajarajeshwarinagar. He highlighted the impact these claims had on his reputation, mentioning widespread doubts raised by many regarding these allegations. When the judge suggested a potential resolution through an apology and compromise, Sudeep expressed concerns that such actions might convey the wrong message to the producers.

Even as he approached the court, Sudeep expressed his displeasure against the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) for entertaining the two producers by not verifying if their allegations were true.
