Mindy Kaling Secretly Gives Birth To Daughter, Shares First Photo

Mindy Kaling is now a mom of three. The 45-year-old actor announced on Instagram that she welcomed her third child, a baby girl, in February 2024 following a secret pregnancy. She shared this joyous news on her birthday, June 24, calling it 'the best birthday present' she could have received.

Kaling posted three photos: one featuring her children Katherine, six, and Spencer, three, with their new baby sister; another of herself cradling her baby bump; and a third taken at the hospital with her two kids. In the caption accompanying these photos, Mindy wrote, "In late February I gave birth to my daughter, Anne. She’s the best birthday present I could’ve ever imagined."

Following the announcement, social media users noted that this isn't the first time Mindy has kept a pregnancy under wraps until after the birth. One person commented, “The way you’ve shocked us three times with three different kids! CONGRATULATIONS!!!” Another remarked, “How does one have three whole children without being seen in public pregnant?”

Since the birth of her first child, Katherine, in 2017, Kaling has kept her children largely out of the public eye and has not revealed the identity of their father.
