Neena Gupta, who is on a promotional spree for her recently released film Mast Mein Rehne Ka, opened up about facing judgements. The veteran actress, in a recent interview, candidly spoke about being negatively judged by society. However, she added that the judgements are quite less in today's time.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress was asked if the judgements of people were less back in the day compared to today's generation. To this, the actress replied that back in time, the judgements were more compared to today's time. She faced challenges and was judged in every way.

"I have faced those challenges and I have been judged like that in every way and in a negative way and I have seen that and suffered it. But the judgements are quite less in today’s time." Neena feels the younger generation's self-confidence is "quite commendable," and said, "I have worked with so many youngsters and become friends regardless of what characters we play onscreen."

Coming back to Neena Gupta's recently released film, Mast Mein Rehne Ka also stars Jackie Shroff. It is a comedy-drama, helmed by Vijay Maurya and produced by  Vijay Maurya and Payal Arora. The film also stars  Abhishek Chauhan, Monika Panwar, Faisal Malik and Rakhi Sawant, in the supporting roles. The film is streaming on Prime Video on December 8.

The film's narrative delves into the parallel universes of two distinct generations, each navigating its unique reservations and confronting the adversities of life. It is a beautifully crafted story based on universal themes of second chances in love and life, forgiveness, and redemption.

Next, Neena Gupta will be seen in the Malayalam web series 1000 Babies. It will stream on Hotstar, but the makers are yet to announce the release date.
