Randeep Hooda-Lin Laishram dance at Delhi reception attended by Suresh Raina, Vijender Singh

Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram tied the knot on November 29. The couple got married in the Meiti tradition in Manipur, the bride’s native place. Days after the wedding, the couple hosted a star-studded reception party for their friends in Mumbai and another one for imminent personalities in the National Capital. 

Randeep Hooda-Lin Laishram groove to live music at the Delhi reception 

On December 17, Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram hosted a reception in New Delhi. Several celebrities and influential people from all walks of life attended the celebration. Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, Indian boxer Vijender Singh, Minister of Earth Sciences, Kiren Rijiju, and several other high-profile guests marked their attendance at the couple’s reception. The pictures have been doing rounds on social media. 

In a video circulating on social media, the newlyweds can be seen dancing together as the guests cheer for them at the reception party. Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram danced mushily with each other to the tunes of live musicians. For the bash, Randeep opted for a blue suit paired with white pants. Lin, on the other hand, wore a traditional Manipuri outfit called Mayek Naibi. The ensemble consisted of an embellished, striped wrap-around skirt. She completed the outfit with a shimmer purple mini blouse wrapped under a shimmery golden buti work upper cloth, draped as a shawl.

Randeep and Lin had a traditional nuptial ceremony on November 29 in Imphal, Manipur. They got married in a traditional Meitei ceremony in the presence of family members and a few friends. The reception which was held in Mumbai on December 12, was graced by celebrities like Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Imtiaz Ali, Naseeruddin Shah with wife Ratna Shah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Jackie Shroff, Vishal and Rekha Bhardwaj, Madhur Bhandarkar, Milan Luthria, Gulshan Grover, and many others.

Randeep opted for a black suit, while Lin shone in a glittery-shaded red lehenga. Sharing the pictures of the reception on social media, the Sarbjit actor wrote: "In our eternal garden of Eden #togetherforever #deepinlove." The other celebrities who attended the reception were Sunny Hinduja, Nitu Chandra, Darshan Kumar, Rajneesh Duggal, Lulia Vantur, Urvashi Rautela, and Sharad Kelkar, among several others.
