This is not the first time the Chief Minister has given a glimpse of his musical talent. Last year, CM Sangma had shared another cover video of same song.
A video of Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma is going viral on the internet, where he can be seen in a rare musical mode. In the said, CM Sangma can be seen playing guitar for a stage cover performance at a cafe, of the iconic Iron Maiden song Wasted Years.
CM Sangma shared this video on his Instagram page, where he can be seen effortlessly strumming his electric guitar to the tune of the iconic Iron Maiden song that was released in the year 1986. CM captioned his post with the text, “Another rocking night… Iron Maiden this time..”
This is not the first time the Chief Minister has given a glimpse of his musical talent to his followers. CM Sangma had shared another video of him performing a cover of the same Iron Maiden song that he posted earlier today. His last year’s post had the caption, “After a hectic 3-day Assembly session, unwinding with some Iron Maiden stuff. It's been a long while I haven't played, so I guess a few mistakes.”
Sangma’s National People’s Party had won 26 seats in the 60-member Meghalaya assembly elections earlier this year. The victory was followed by a coalition led by NPP, which led to the formation of state government and Conrad Sangma officially taking over the chief minister’s position. Conrad Sangma is the son of former Lok Sabha speaker and Meghalaya Chief Minister PA Sangma.
