However, the social media team of Delhi Police too is upping its game, as evident by their latest post. While issuing an advisory for new years, Delhi Police made a hilarious post, making abundant movie references to the biggest Bollywood movies of 2023, flooring netizens with their wit.

Delhi Police mentions 2023’s best Bollywood movies in their advisory

In an Instagram/X post made earlier this morning, Delhi Police shared a creative advisory poster about news years celebrations, asking people to exercise caution. Their post read, “New Year's Eve par 'Mast Mein Rehne Ka' lekin 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke'. Agar 'Animal' ban kar 'Bawaal' ya 'Non Stop Dhamaal' machaaya toh kahi aisa na ho ki 2024 ka pehla din 'The Great Indian Family' ke bajaaye 'Indian Police Force' ke saath manana pade."

Outside the poster, the Delhi Police made more references in their caption text, adding the note, “"SAM BAHADURi isi mein hai ki safety ko BHAGWAN BHAROSE mat rakho.. after all, aap bhi KISI KA BHAI, KISI KI JAAN ho!”

The post roughly translates to, “Stay in your best spirits on this new year’s eve, but exercise caution. If you try to be unruly or create ruckus, then god forbid you could spend the first day of the year with the cops instead of your family. Bravery lies in ensuring your safety yourself, instead of leaving it upon god. After you, you too are someone’s beloved.”
