Charlize Theron on Bombshell: it was a dream come true for me

Charlize Theron on her recent appearance on a talkshow spoke about producing her film Bombshell. Bombshell stars Margot Robbie and Nicole Kidman alongside Charlize Theron. The film’s plot revolves around the Former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes’ allegedly sexually harassing his female employees. Read on to know more about what Charlize Theron said about Bombshell.

Charlize Theron talks about Bombshell

Charlize Theron, Margot Robbie, and Nicole Kidman appeared on a talkshow post the release of their film Bombshell. Charlize was asked about producing the film as well and Charlize said that the project is very special for her. She further revealed that the script of the film was sent to her production company to possibly produce and for Charlize to star in as well. Charlize said that everybody at her company knew that the script was an incredible gift because Charles Randolph had written an incredibly powerful script. Charles Randolph is an Academy Award winner. He won the Oscar for writing the screenplay of The Big Short.

Charlize Theron also spoke in detail about her experience of working with fellow actors Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie and playing the character of Megyn Kelly. Charlize said that working with Nicole and Margot was like a dream come true for her. The entire cast is just an amazing group of people. She further spoke about and her team members spoke the number of women involved in the project. She said this amount of female involvement in a project is a rare sight. While speaking about her role post the comments of Megyn Kelly talking about the film, Charlize said that Megyn has been extremely kind to speak so well about her. Megyn told a news portal that she is a fan of Charlize and said that she seems to be a smart woman who is also a good mom.

Charlize Theron has also impressed critics with her performance as Megyn Kelly in the film Bombshell. Several critics while talking about a film to a media portal said that Charlize’s portrayal of the Fox employee was uncanny. Many critics also commented that Charlize Theron might also get nominated for the Oscars this year since her performance in the film has left the critics awestruck.
