Charlize Theron's action perfection pursuit not without cracks & scars

Actress Charlize Theron has opened up about her seriousness when it comes to fight scenes in her movies. Recently, on the Jimmy Kimmel Show on October 9, the 44-year-old actor revealed that she “tore a ligament off” while shooting for an action film. She also called the incident “stupid” when she wounded herself while fighting a “very big guy”. While talking about her ligament, Theron said it is like fabric and the doctors “mold it for hours” around the hand.

Not the first injury

This was not the first time Theron injured herself in a shoot for a movie or just training for it. She most recently wounded herself while training for Atomic Blonde in 2017. The American actor played the role of a secret agent who was on the run. However, Theron reportedly went through an intense experience while filming for a thriller action movie, cracking her teeth from clenching her jaw too hard. In an interview with international entertainment media, the 44-year-old actor recalled that the injury happened in the first month of training and it was also the most severe tooth pain she ever endured in her life. Furthermore, on her visit to the dentist, it was revealed that there might a need for surgery involving cutting of her one tooth, along with the root canals. Even back in 2004, Theron injured her neck while filming for a science fiction, Aeon Flux.

Addams Family

The Hancock actor who has several incidents involving injuries is currently awaiting the release of an animated film Addams Family. Theron has lent her voice to Morticia Addams. This upcoming movie will be released on big screens on October 11. The story about the mysterious members of the spooky Addams family, Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Uncle Fester, and Grandma as they all prepare for a visit of their relatives.
